- I am a 44-year-old man living in Carroll, Iowa. I am a widower and had spent 17 years in the radio news business but stepped out of the workforce in October 1999, one year after I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I was eventually in a wheelchair but a new drug called Tysabri allowed me to walk again in January 2007.
