My English is a bit rusty, but it is good to practice. Looking in my old yearbook, you were a sophmore, when I gratuated. You were a classmate of Sheryl Bradley. Her brother Mark, was also a senior in my class. Mark was a good friend of my, back than. That is why I knew Sheryl. They lived on south 24 street. Funny thing is, if you have acces to a yearbook of '77, on page 43 where my picture is. You see them both standing on the right corner of that picture. At least, I know it's them. They were waiting for me, back then, to go home.
Anyway, it feels really good to be back in Fort Dodge, even if it is by this way.
Reinder (yes I know, I heard a lot of reindeers back then)
Why a class of '79 would welcome a '57 is beyond me but thanks, Bill. And, I was working at KVFD long before you....the high school had a 2 hours Sat. morning show....mainly just music and some very lame patter. I did it around 1956-57: Drexel Peterson, Ed Breen, memories. OOPS..just ralized this is YOUR site. I thoughtit was just a generic site. I also thought Pat Boone would never make it. J Sells Freer
Thanks. I am looking forward to reconnecting with all those I knew while growing up in Fort Dodge (FDHS Class 1963). Have many friends both in FDHS & SEHS. Will devote more time to the site after the holidays. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
Thanks Bill! I was wondering if you have heard of this singer Mishka..He's totally awesome..kinda like blues/reggae mix I think. Anyways if you think about checking him out..let me know what ya think..later:) Gina
I don't know if You were at the radio & t.v. stations at the time my uncle...Kent Adams, was working there or not, I recall it was in late 50's or early 60's. Kent was a disc jockey for awhile. KENT moved on to Des Moines. I still see Him every year, He and my Aunt Karla are what we call Snow Birds. They live in Wash. State and come to Sun City to winter over here...He is just a few years older than me...please let me know if You remember Him....David
Ok.. Hi Bill! Sent you a note, but I can also bother you here! Let us know what your schedule is - come have a beer with the Pirates when we're in your neck of the woods (provided we find a place to stay). Our team is bigger this year, so housing has been difficult to come by. See you soon!! Carrie
Bill Hi, Well I took computing to the next level in a BIG WAY!!!.
We had a 32 inch LCD TV that went sour (no picture, only sound), so I replaced the broken TV with a new 32 inch TV, and had a TV repairman look at our old TV. He fixed it for a cost of $79.16, well I turrned it in to a computer monitor!!
I works fine and it is not grainey looking, but one size smaller size TV would work better.
At this rate I wont need new glasses for a long time, unless I plan to keep driving on the sidewalk HA! HA! Russ Splish Splash Williams
