The Webster County Cultural Diversity Team has applied for a Pepsi Refresh Grant to fund the creation of our community garden, but there’s a twist. All grants are awarded based solely on popular vote!

The Iowa State USBC Women’s Bowling Association 4th Annual State Championship Tournament is being held in Fort Dodge from February 6th -May 16th. They will also be holding their annual meeting on April 9-11. This tournament and annual meeting may bring as many as 5,000 women bowlers and their families to our community. The Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight is moving quickly towards the May 1, 2010 flight for World War II veterans going to Washington, D.C. to see the WWII National Monument. Many WWII veterans have not had the opportunity to see their memorial and many WWII veterans are between 85 and 95 years old.
