I am a widower now living in Carroll, Iowa, and had spent 17 years in the radio news business. But I stepped out of the workforce in October 1999, one year after I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I was eventually in a wheelchair but a new drug called Tysabri allowed me to walk again on January 4th, 2007.
I am the author of a memoir called A Tear-Stained Letter and am working on a second memoir dealing with my struggles with multiple sclerosis. My literary agent is now shopping around for a publisher. You can read selected chapters of my books by visiting my website. Please comment. Thanks!

BTW, you were partially responsible for one of the happiest days of my life. The first night I was on KRIT, after Doug MacKinnon fired me from KKEZ.
About an hour into the show, you come back from the city council meeting. You told me you saw Becky Helfter there. She told you to be sure and tell me that Doug was fired from KKEZ...on the same day I started at KRIT. HELL YEAH!!!!
