About Me:
I'm a native of Fort Dodge and have been running my own business since the summer of 2002. I'm very active and enjoy bicycling, motorcycling, and just about anything else outdoors that I can do while listening to my iPod.

My Professional Life (The Short Story): I started as a radio announcer in 1979 at age 18, but later decided to drop my on-air aspirations and join a radio station's advertising sales staff in 1982. From that point on my radio career was spent behind the scenes; first as a manager of a 100,000 watt FM station at the age of 23, and later as a regional manager for a broadcasting group. I have over 25 years of broadcasting, marketing and advertising creation, sales, and management experience, and my articles on sales and advertising have been published internationally. I'm also a Past President of the Iowa Broadcasters Association. My Fort Dodge business helps other local businesses with their Internet marketing which includes website building, Internet and Cable TV ad production, and website administration services such as maintenance and page ranking services (SEO).

Bill has also served on several statewide and national organizations and committees such as the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation, NAB State Leadership Conference, and served as President of the Iowa Broadcasters Association and President of the Greater Cedar Rapids Foundation. Favorite Music:
Classic rock from the 70's, but I have found many new independent artists that are amazing. A few of them are playing on this page, and many are on the main page.
Favorite TV Shows:
Father Ted, Homicide: Life on the Street, and the original reality shows....they're called "sports".

Bill Hi, Well I took computing to the next level in a BIG WAY!!!.
We had a 32 inch LCD TV that went sour (no picture, only sound), so I replaced the broken TV with a new 32 inch TV, and had a TV repairman look at our old TV. He fixed it for a cost of $79.16, well I turrned it in to a computer monitor!!
I works fine and it is not grainey looking, but one size smaller size TV would work better.
At this rate I wont need new glasses for a long time, unless I plan to keep driving on the sidewalk HA! HA! Russ Splish Splash Williams

Bill thank you for the greeting!

Over the years I've really come to appreciate the people of Ft. Dodge.

Working with Corn Belt Power I've held numerous training events there for their employees.

Most recently this summer I presented at the community college for the state wide meeting of Iowa Community College Trustees.

I hope to find new clients and reasons to visit Ft Dodge in the future.

Keep creating...a vision worth chasing,
Mike

Video: How to replace a sump pump

Few household sounds get my attention like the constant running of the sump pump.

It gets my attention because I know if it's running continuously, we're getting a lot of rain, or like today, a lot of rain and snow melt.

Once it reaches the "constant operation stage", I make sure that I… Continue
