Grew up in Fort Dodge. Was not much of a socialist in School - too busy working to pay for motorcycles, 4X4's, and partying. Moved to West Des Moines to get a 2yr Technical Degree. Moved to Texas to work for Texas Instruments in 1986 -- have been in Texas and with Texas Instruments ever since. I am married with one daughter in college whom also works for the State Senator.
