Fort Dodge’s Tenth Annual Oakland Cemetery Walk Fort Dodge’s Tenth Annual Oakland Cemetery Walk will be held Saturday, June 9th, with a special indoor performance on June 10th. During the 80-minute walk/performance meet 9 historic, costumed “characters.” On Saturday, guided walks begin every 10 minutes, from 1:00 – 3:00. CVB Offices Move

On Saturday, February 11th the Fort Dodge CVB will move their offices to 822 Central Avenue, Suite 406 (Downtown Wells Fargo Building), Fort Dodge, IA 50501.  Our phone number will be the same at 515 573-4282 or toll free 888 573-4282.  Our fax number will be changing to 955-5421.  Staff will stay the same with Dan Payne and Kerrie Kuiper moving, but since we had administrative services through the Chamber there will not be a receptionist in the office.  Therefore the office may…

Hi Kerrie! Was that you who posted the FDCVB to my (our) FD Class of '77 Fort Dodge High group site? If so, Thanks so much and welcome! Great idea! If I know of out-of-towners coming in for gatherings or reunions, I will recommend FDCVB. We (our Class of "77) just had a 30th (it actually ended up taking place on the 31st year) Reunion (Aug. 15 2008). We had one day at the Opera House and one at the Elks, I think (I didn't make it to that reunion)...we will keep you in mind for future events! Our class organizer for the last reunion was Peggie Fishel with the City of Fort Dodge.... P.S. I have many unforgettable memories of growing up in FD and going to "the Fort" and other historic places like Doliver Park with my grandparents... I should add some pic's later....take care and many blessings .... Ms. Kris D. .........
