"Wow! I had twin girls which was rare because I am a twin. Congratulations. It's difficult until they get a little older but now it's blast. Keep in touch. Loved to see you next time you roll through even it's just for coffee."
"Good to hear from you...yes, those are my little boys Tristan and Tennyson; they are 15 months old now. I tried to have kids for almost 15 years and kept getting pregnant but miscarrying, then they figured out it was my thyroid, so we fixed that and…"
"Keith - I've been out of the loop somewhat (although I'd occasionally run into folks when visiting my grandma in FD until last year, when she passed) and had newborns around the time of the last reunion so I did not know you lost your son…"
"Sheila - catching up on this site. Great picture; you haven't changed a bit! hard to believe you've got kids in and nearing college. That's about 17 years off for me now, which I also can't believe. take care -deb"
Dodgers, Gaels, Hawks, Clones, Panthers, Bulldogs, or Tritons?
I became a mom for the first time around Christmas 2007. It's still a bit hard to believe. Tristan John (dark hair) and Tennyson Luke (the blonde) are fraternal twin boys. I've lived in Washington State for 10 years and am editor of a national journal, pianist of my church, and choir director. If I have any spare time, I'm outside hiking or running or biking (kids in tow). Other members of the family are Jim (babies' best friend), Holiday Skies the dog (a minor champion in agility training), and Orca the killer cat. I visited Fort Dodge 2-3 times a year until last year when Grandma died at age 97, but I'd like to get back to her nursing home and cheer up the staff by bringing the little boys. I often miss the plains, the nutty weather, the sunsets, the corn, and even the heat. My folks and brother & family live in Minneapolis and I'm toying with living there part-time so I could hang in MN and IA more. I'm finding now that I have kids, the good parts of my childhood are rushing back into my memory.

You'll have to load some Christmas pics later on here...love to see them.
Not doing the Facebook either like I was this summer. "What are you doing right now?"...after awhile those "status" statements were becoming too pretentious and too boring. After all, I just wanted to connect with some friends and not feel like I had to give a daily report on the littlest aspects of my life that most people could care less about.
Best place to find me is here....be sure to give me that holler!
