, then i guess we either skip ledges, or u wear boots when we go hiking. Suppose we could find some quick "park n grabs" for ya...that's where u can drive up close to the find, walk a few feet and find the cache. sounds more ur style. LOL
Well .... neater, but the trails at the Ledges may be a wee bit too steep :)

well in most cases no, not a huge problem. do u like to walk/hike? most aren't to bad in the "get dirty" part..nothing u can't brush off like leaves, tree bark etc..
Oh, meant to tell you that I don't like to get dirty. Is that a problem?

Mostly go from memory or from post I have seen on here. If the one downtown is empty see if you can get any pictures of the interior or any signs left on the building. I just think it will be a great addition to the photo collection on this site to get a collection of buildings while they are still there and while folks still remember what they were! I know the old Holiday stations had a unique design. I found a picture of one on Google a while back and it took me back in time. Not one from Fort Dodge just the old style. The reason I mentioned the signs. Not long ago I was at a local liquor store that used to be a Carnation Ice Cream Parlor. To my surprise on the side of the building was a half rusted sign that still had Carnation parking only on it. That Carnations has been gone for 30 years but somehow that sign is still there. OK. I have taken enough of your time! Thanks again! Greg
